HOW IT WORKS
No mystery here — just metal, muscle, and a bit o’ magic
All we need to begin is you and a spark of spirit. To keep things safe and the steel singin’, there’s a few bits of know-how to mind. Below ye will find the lay o’ the land — from check-in to check-out — so ye know what to expect once the hammer meets the anvil. Let’s make ready, the forge waits for no one!

Cast yer eyes on the Forge Menu to find the right blacksmithin’ voyage — each with its own price, age chartin’, and time aboard the anvil.
- Once ye know the course, book online to secure yer time at the fire
- Sign yer waiver ahead o’ time — makes check-in swift as a tailwind
- Tell yer crew to drink water deep and dress smart — natural fibers and comfort be the way
- Show up 15 minutes early — ready to trade words for steel
- Safety first — strap on yer goggles straight away
- Heed every word from yer smith — they be trained in the ways of steel and spectacle
- Both hands on the hammer, no matter yer past — this rule is ironclad
- Breathe steady — the forge tests more than just yer muscles
- Return yer safety specs to the crew before ye take leave
- Wash the rust from yer mitts — stations are at the ready
- We’ll send word by text when yer steel is finished. If no word comes by day’s end, head back to the shop to claim what’s rightly yers

HAVE QUESTIONS?
WE HAVE ANSWERS.
You’ll find us moored in Hero’s Harbor at Broadway at the Beach, tucked away in Unit 310—just across the way from Margaritaville.
All deposits count toward your final creation when you arrive to forge.
Know this: deposits be non-refundable, but may be shifted to another day or hour, if the forge’s schedule allows.
-
Know the lay of the land — find us within Broadway at the Beach, and give yourself plenty o’ time to make port.
-
Drink deep from the water’s well, before and during your time at the anvil. Water’s the lifeblood that keeps your strength up as you hammer.
-
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your session. This grants time to check in, claim your metal, sign the waiver, and take a moment to watch the forge’s fiery dance before stepping in.
-
Unbind tight garb and loosen yer shoes. The forge is no place for constriction — you’ll need freedom to breathe deep and move strong as you work.
Laced boots or any stout shoes with covered toes are highly recommended. Should you arrive in sandals or slippers more fit for the parlor than the forge, we have leather footwraps on hand to set things right. Trousers or breeches offer fine protection, though skirts or shorts are fair game — just know this isn’t a place for frills or frippery.
While our forge doesn’t belch heat like dragon’s breath thanks to the magic of induction fire, the work still builds a sweat. Dress in light layers, with a cotton shirt as your base — it’ll serve you well once the hammer starts to swing. Natural fibers like cotton are favored. Synthetic threads like nylon or poly, may not hold up to the task and may call for a leather apron, which we’ll provide. The same goes for low necklines or loose-fitting tops.
Safety glasses will be provided unless your own specs are fit to fend off sparks. We have ear protection, too, should you wish to dull the din of the anvil’s song.
In short — loosen what’s tight, stow what dangles, and come ready for the forge to test more than just your hands.
The forge welcomes smiths of many years, though the work demands both mettle and muscle. The work is as varied as the crew, and we match each task to the skill and age o’ the smith.
-
Young hands of 6 years may shape a Flag Pendant or Hairpin, so long as a parent or guardian stands by.
-
From 9 years onward, Marlinspikes and Horseshoe Knives may be crafted with a guiding hand close.
-
At 12 years and beyond, stronger arms may forge Railspike Knives or Daggers — always with a guardian present.
